                  Tourism Marketing Coordinator

Salary:                       $30,000 Part-time, 20 hours/week
Reports to:               President/CEO


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Tourism Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the regional destination marketing efforts funded through the Idaho Travel Council Grant. This position works closely with other Chamber staff and volunteers to ensure marketing is done within the grant guidelines and fulfills the needs of the entire region

  1. Ensure grant guidelines are precisely followed in all aspects
  2. Coordinate all aspects of destination marketing for Region IV (Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, and Twin Falls Counties)
  3. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan
  4. Attend and coordinate sponsorship of tourism related events within the region
  5. Provide leadership and support to the Tourism Marketing Committee to include:
    1. Gather input and feedback regarding the regional marketing plan
    2. Schedule and coordinate committee meetings
    3. Develop and maintain written policies and procedures outlining the work of this committee
    4. Communicate regularly with the committee
  6. Deliver maps/magazines/etc to distribution points across the region
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and elected officials
  8. Document and report activities according to grant guidelines
