Printmaking Basics: Block Printed Gift Wrap with Ellie Burton

Explore your creativity with the Magic Valley Arts Council’s Printmaking Basics: Block Printed Gift Wrap with Ellie Burton on Tuesday, November 18 from 6 – 8 pm at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place.
Join us for a hands-on holiday workshop where you’ll learn the timeless art of block printing to create custom hand-printed gift wrap! In this two-hour class, you’ll be guided through the basics of carving soft rubber block, transferring designs, inking, and printing, with a special focus on creating a beautiful, repeatable block print design. You will take your carved and finished block home, along with a length of hand-printed paper!
All materials are provided by the Magic Valley Arts Council, and no experience is necessary! Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to create one-of-a-kind wrapping paper.
