NO KINGS 2.0

NO KINGS 2.0

This administration’s authoritarian power grabs keep escalating. NO KINGS is a peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the growing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration, which they have doubled down on since June.

They are:
- Targeting immigrant families, profiling, arresting and detaining people without warrants
- Threatening to overtake elections
- Gutting health care, environmental protections, and education when families need them most
- Rigging maps to silence voters
- Ignoring mass shootings at our schools and in our communities
- Driving up the cost of living while handing out massive giveaways to billionaire allies, as families struggle
Join us as we stand together to defend democracy, demand accountability, and say no to authoritarian rule.

Here’s What’s Planned for the Day:
Guest Speakers starting at Noon – inspiring voices from members of our community
Informational Booths – learn and connect with local groups and organizations
After the guest speakers finish, attendees can visit informational booths or exercise their First Amendment rights.
We’re keeping the energy high and the vibes fun!
Costumes Encouraged! Especially frog costumes — a playful nod to the movement’s spirit of creativity and resilience.
Family-Friendly & Welcoming – bring your kids, friends, and neighbors for a day of inspiration, community, and action.
Bring Chairs or Blankets so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the lineup of incredible speakers and local groups.
Bring Cookies to Share!
Let’s add a little sweetness to the day — if you can, bring cookies or treats to share at the park. It’s a small gesture that helps build community and keeps the energy warm and welcoming.

Parking: Please park only in designated areas around City Park and downtown.
Use nearby lots and side streets
Do not double park
Do not block driveways, sidewalks, crosswalks, or park in prohibited zones

Be there! Bring your signs, your energy, and your voice. Together, we’ll show that democracy belongs to the people—not to kings.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
