DESCRIPTION:On this quest\, Heroes embarked on a journey to learn the basics of coding\, a journey that culminates in a real-life exploration of the world of robotics.\n\n\n\nFebruary 18th @ 5:00pm\n\nCome join us for a night with robotics competitions\, coursework from Code.org on display\, and a panel or Socratic discussion on technology (our future\, it's impact\, etc.).\n\n \n\nThis is also a great way to get a taste of the learning atmosphere at Acton Academy.\n\n\n\nThe goals of this quest included:\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Gaining a basic understanding of programming concepts and how they apply to the real world in non-coding scenarios (concepts include algorithms\, loops\, conditionals\, variables\, and events)\n	\n	\n	Honing and developing problem-solving skills through "debugging"\n	\n	\n	Developing an awareness and curiosity about the role technology currently plays and will play in their lives\n	\n	\n	Learning about innovators and disruptors throughout history in various technology-related fields
